To accelerate agricultural mechanization and remove outdated machinery from the market, several provinces, including Henan, Jiangsu, and Hubei, have introduced special policies this year to fully support farmers and agricultural operators in upgrading their tractors. These initiatives, including increasing subsidies, streamlining application procedures, and providing financial support, have effectively reduced the cost of upgrading for farmers and significantly stimulated their enthusiasm for purchasing machinery.

In Henan Province, this year's tractor replacement subsidy has increased by 10% compared to last year, with subsidies for high-horsepower tractors reaching up to 60,000 yuan. Furthermore, the local government has also launched an innovative online application channel, allowing farmers to easily submit applications through a mobile app. Upon approval, the subsidy funds will be directly transferred to the farmer's personal account. The entire process is efficient and convenient, taking no more than 10 business days. "In the past, applying for subsidies required running back and forth to the agricultural machinery station and the finance bureau. The procedures were cumbersome, time-consuming, and laborious. Now I can do it at home using my phone, and the subsidy arrives quickly. I got a new tractor this year, and I only spent half the price myself. It's so convenient and so cost-effective." Mr. Liu, a farmer in Zhoukou City, Henan Province, was overjoyed after receiving his subsidy.

Jiangsu Province has taken the initiative to launch a special "trade-in" program. Farmers can enjoy an additional 5% subsidy on new models by presenting a recycling certificate for their old tractors. Furthermore, several financial institutions in the province are offering low-interest loans with repayment terms of up to three years, significantly alleviating farmers' financial pressures. According to statistics from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, over 2,000 farmers across the province have upgraded their tractors through the "trade-in" program, significantly accelerating the upgrading of agricultural machinery and equipment across the province.

Furthermore, Hubei, Anhui, and other regions have implemented subsidies specifically for small and medium-sized tractors suitable for small-scale operations in mountainous and hilly terrain. This policy has effectively addressed the difficulties faced by farmers in mountainous areas, such as the difficulty of purchasing and operating tractors, allowing more farmers in mountainous areas to benefit from the benefits of agricultural mechanization. Officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs stated that the implementation of these policies will further optimize the tractor equipment mix, significantly improve the overall level of agricultural mechanization, and provide solid and reliable support for improving the quality and efficiency of agricultural production.
